The deteriorating circumstances of Pakistan due to flash foods have left many heart-wrenched. Millions of families and people have lost their loved ones, their assets, and their homes. The cruel floods have left them destitute and devastated.
Meanwhile, millions of people are donating and paying their condolences to the affected. People from around the world are shaken because of the gruesome current situation in our motherland.
Politicians, actors, musicians everyone is standing up to pay their respects.
Recently, Indian actors Ishaan Khatter and Aly Goni took it to their gram accounts and expressed penitence over the damage and the deaths caused due to the natural disaster.
The Dhadak actor wrote:
“1/3 of Pakistan is currently underwater in devastating flooding. Hearbreaking!”
 Aly Goni too stood up and prayed for mercy from Allah for the flood victims. He wrote
“Ya Allah Reham Kar”
Our hearts are bleeding for Pakistan. We hope and pray for the floods to subside and for the affectees to have a better place to live.
Since June 2022, floods in Pakistan have killed at least 1,136 people. The floods were caused by heavier than usual monsoon rains and melting glaciers that followed a severe heat wave all of which are linked to climate change. Another major reason that made the flooding worse was India released floodwaters in Chenab that wreaked havoc in northern Pakistan. It is the world’s deadliest flood since the 2017 South Asian floods.
