Indians Target Big Boss Actress After She Stands Up for Pakistani Artists

“Being a victim of this ban culture, I know what’s wrong with it.”

Actress and politician Shilpa Shinde is not in favor of Bollywood’s ban on Pakistani artists. The actress is paying the price for that.

Shilpa Shinde has been receiving death threats and rape threats for supporting Pakistani artists as well as Punjab cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu.

While most Indian artists are pushing the anti-Pakistan agenda like they’re paid for it, some people are proving to be the exception to this rule.

Hate-mongers are making life harder for actors like Shilpa Shinde. The Big Boss Season 11 winner agrees with comedian Navjot Singh Sidhu’s statement on the Pulwama attack.

The former cricketer Sidhu stated that ‘no nation can be blamed for the attack and terrorism has no cast, creed or religion’.

“For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It [the attack] is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”

When fellow comedian Kapil Sharma called for concrete solutions instead of playing the blame game, he too was threatened.

“I believe banning people, sending Sidhu out of the show is not the right solution. We need to look for a permanent solution”

After Sindu and Kapil Sharma, Shilpa Shinde on Hit-List

Now Shilpa Shinde is suffering a similar fate to Navjot Singh Sidhu and Kapil Sharma. The actress has been receiving rape threats and death threats from warmongers.

She said that banning artists is not a solution

In an interview, Shilpa said that Pakistani artists should be allowed into Bollywood on the basis of talent alone, not political opinion.

“I am totally against the new phenomenon of banning anyone whose views you don’t concur with. Sadly, CINTAA and other industry bodies are equally complicit in this……. I have been a victim of this ban culture, so I know what’s wrong with it.”

Shilpa told IWMBuzz that ‘Sidhu never supported terrorism‘. She added that he was not wrong for not criticizing Pakistan.

“Agreed, he might have been politically correct by not criticizing his friend, Imran Khan, but you need to understand that they have played together for years. Also, why was everyone after him to say something bad about Pakistan? He hit the nail on the head by saying that, at the end of the day, issues can only be threshed out on the peace table.”
