Internet Is Not Happy Over Dananeer Mobeen’s Acting Debut In ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’, But Why?

Fans are not thrilled with the youngster’s inclusion in ISPR’s mega project.

Social media influencer and meme star Dananeer Mobeen will make her acting debut in ISPR’s mega project Sinf-e-Aahan. The 19-year-old’s inclusion in the upcoming project has invited mixed reaction from the public as people are not happy.

A female-centric narrative, written by Umera Ahmed, Sinf-e-Aahan which translates to “Women of Steel” comes from the mind of the maestro Nadeem Baig. Written by Umera Ahmed, Sinf-e-Aahan is an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) project following the stories of female army cadets.

According to the creators, Sinf-e-Aahan is one of the biggest and most expensive dramas to be made in the history of Pakistani dramas on television.

The Sinf-e-Aahan cast includes names like Sajal Aly, Yumna Zaidi, Syra Yousuf, Kubra Khan, Ramsha Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Asad Siddiqui, Asim Azhar, Shehryar Munawar, and Usman Mukhtar.

One of the surprise inclusions to the cast is social media star Dananeer Mobeen (aka the Pawri girl). The young vlogger will make her professional acting debut, portraying the role of “Sidra”. We got a few glimpses of the 19-year-old onscreen in uniform.

The public reception for the youngster’s inclusion in such a mega project has invited some public criticism. Netizens fondly remember Dananeer as a meme, that went viral all over the internet. The “Pawri Ho Rahi Hai” meme has resulted in the youngster becoming an overnight star with sponsorship deals, modeling opportunities and now a role in an ISPR project!
