Jemima Drops First Look Of Sajal Aly From Her Hollywood Debut ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?’

Jemima Goldsmith’s screenplay “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” has become the most awaited movie lately. After watching Ahad Raza Mir in Resident Evil now fans are rooting for the Hollywood debut of Sajal Aly.

The first look of Sajal has just been revealed and people are swooning over the Mom actress. Fans are showering all the love and luck over Aly for her big leap.

Sajal turned to her gram to reveal her first look!

“I am thrilled to share my first look from WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?” she captioned.

The film will receive its World Premiere at the 47th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival and will screen as a Gala Presentation at the Roy Thomson Hall on Saturday, September 10th.

This is definitely going to be a milestone for Sajal. The movie is set to be released in cinemas on January 27th, 2023 starring Sajal Aly, Shabana Azmi, Lily James and Shahzad Latif.

The rom-com film follows documentary filmmaker Zoe, played by Lily James, for whom swiping right to track down Mr. Right has just conveyed awful dates and interesting tales, much to her stubborn mother Cath’s disappointment.

For her childhood friend and neighbor Kazim (Latif), the answer is to follow his parents’ example and opt for an arranged marriage with a bright and beautiful bride from Pakistan.

As Zoe films Kazim’s hopeful journey from London to Lahore to marry a stranger, chosen by his parents, she begins to wonder if she might have something to learn from a different approach to finding love.

British-Pakistani chart-topping music producer Shahid Khan, known by his stage name Naughty Boy, will bring his production and writing skills to What’s Love Got To Do With It?.

The worldwide star and legendary Qawwali singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has also recorded two songs, one of which is titled ‘Mahi Sohna’, for the rom-com’s soundtrack.
