More About ‘Jo Bichar Gaye’

Jo Bichar Gaye is a Pakistani period drama set in the 1970s. Based on 71’s war and the fall of Dhaka, the story was penned by a real 1971 war veteran, Captain Z I Farrukh, who is now a retired Colonel.

The drama serial is based on his novel ‘Bichar Gaye’. Col (R) Farrukh narrates the experiences and sentiments he witnessed as a war hero. Whereas, the love story between Captain Farrukh and a Bengali girl Sonia, is also based on a real-life experience from that time.

Ali Moeen adapted the novel into a script. While Haissam Hussain directed and produced the drama serial.
