As many movies hit theaters after a long dry spell with the COVID-19 pandemic, another Saba Qamar starrer film Kamli hits our big screen and is currently topping the charts with more than 1 crores PKR on opening weekend. Five Pakistani films were released on Eid this year in cinemas and couldn’t do much due to a Hollywood release Dr. Strange Multiverse. This gave way to a lot of expectations for Sarmad Khoosat’s Kamli.
Kamli is a tale of love, loss, and cloaked secrets which inherent weaknesses and conflicts of men and women. It boasts a talented cast including Saba Qamar, Hamza Khawaja, Sania Saeed, Omair Rana, and Nimra Bucha.
The film is nearing one crore on opening weekend. Box office analyst shared the numbers and things are looking great for this niche film.

We truly hope that this movie could be the breakthrough for the Pakistan film industry and things remain the same for other upcoming big films like London Nahi Jaunga and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad.
