As usual Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar made headlines over a quarrel with another public figure. Recently, veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari said if KRQ wasn’t a writer, he’d be a punching bag for people on a talk show. The Gul-o-Gulzar actor is now apologizing for his statement.
“(If KRQ wasn’t a writer) Voh logo se pit rahe hote (He’d be getting beaten by people).”
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar recently addressed the Tanhaiyaan actor’s apology.
The Punjab Nahi Jaungi playwright accepted Behroze Sabzwari’s apology saying that he’s aware of the actor’s intentions and that no media channel should contact him further regarding this.
In a tweet, the Meray Paas Tum Ho writer said the Kankar actor did not mean what he said. Adding that even if he did mean what he said, given their relationship, he’ll accept whatever Sabzwari says with gratitude.
As a video of the Shehnai actor’s comments made rounds online, he received flake over his opinion. This led to the veteran actor issuing an apology saying;
“I’d like to publicly apologise to Khalilur Rehman Qamar if I’ve hurt his sentiments, because believe me, whatever I said was all in jokes and fun, … In my opinion, we don’t have a writer of quality better than him in our industry yet.”

The Ankahi actor continued by talking about their longtime friendship saying;
“We’re very good friends and I treasure him a lot. The stature that he holds is so high that it couldn’t be affected by the statement that I give. It was a joke, just for laughs.”
