Khushhal Khan Is All Set To Play Eccentric Role In Drama Serial ‘Wehshi’

Hum TV recently released the teaser of this much-awaited serial.

Newcomer Khushhal Khan is making quite a mark in the showbiz industry. Fans applaud the young actor’s acting skills in the dramas. People are completely obsessing over his role in the ongoing serial Mushkil with Saboor Aly.

Khushal Khan Khattak is a young, up-and-coming actor. The 22-year-old model turn actor is a Hum Style Award recipient who made his acting debut on the web series Midsummer Chaos. He later went on to appear in a handful of drama serials like Qissa Meherbano Ka and Bebasi.

The starlet was always seen in the side roles but in his first serial Mushkil in the main role as the protagonist is making waves all around because of his killing expressions and phenomenal acting. And he proved that he is here to stay.

The Bebasi star is once again going to shine on our television screens in a rather different and unique role in the drama serial Wehshi. This time he is playing the unconventional role of a mentally disturbed person who gets angry and tries to hurt people around him.

Wehshi is based on the novel by Razia Butt Sahiba and dramatized by Shumaila Zaidi. Directed by Iqbal Hussain, the drama tells the story of Asif (Khushhal Khan), an emotionally and mentally disturbed man. Known for his distant behavior and often hurting those around him, he is given the title of wehshi (violent).

Considering the teaser, his psychological problems were triggered by an abusive stepfather after his biological father passed away when Asif was a child. The mother (Nadia Khan) seems unaware of her husband’s (Babar Ali) abusive nature and only sees Asif at fault. The only person who Asif eventually seems to trust and let into his life is Sobia (Komal Meer) who he loves but who his stepfather sees as a ‘doctor bahu’ who can perhaps help their son.

This is a very sensitive and triggering topic that is often deemed normal in society. And now it’s up to the actors how they deliver the message that it is not okay to be abusive. And it is definitely not okay to make someone a scapegoat to fix the disturbed person. Eagerly waiting and looking forward to this amazing drama.
