Bollywood star Arbaaz Khan embarked on a new journey as he exchanged vows with makeup artist Shura Khan in a private Nikkah ceremony held at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai.
The exclusive affair, attended by close-knit family members and dear friends, featured the presence of Arbaaz’s son Arhaan, brothers Salman Khan and Sohail Khan, along with his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan.
Esteemed personalities from the film industry, including Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Kapoor, added to the joyous atmosphere, making the event a memorable one.
Arbaaz Khan, brimming with happiness, took to his Instagram account to share glimpses of the cherished day. Accompanied by pictures of the newlyweds, he penned an endearing caption that read,
In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!
For the nuptials, Arbaaz exuded grace in a floral bandhgala paired with beige trousers, perfectly complementing his bride Shura, who looked resplendent in a floral peach-colored lehenga choli with a matching dupatta.
Notably, this marks Arbaaz Khan’s second marriage, having previously been married to model Malaika Arora for 19 years.
Reflecting on the joyous occasion, Salim Khan, the veteran screenwriter and father of the groom, expressed his happiness and support for Arbaaz’s decision to remarry. Salim Khan conveyed his blessings to the couple and emphasized his respect for their choice.
“They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai (according to me, it is not a crime). I am happy for him, and I have given my blessings to the bride and the groom,” shared Salim Khan.
He further stressed the importance of allowing his son the autonomy to make personal decisions, stating, “There is no need for my permission. If he is happy, then nothing else matters.”
Salim Khan concluded by affirming his confidence in Arbaaz’s maturity and ability to navigate his own life choices. “I also feel that it’s better not to interfere in anyone’s life as it causes problems,” he remarked, encapsulating the essence of familial support and understanding during moments of personal joy.
