In a world full of Jessie and James, a rare Pokemon Charizard card was sold for $183,000 at an auction. American Rapper Logic was the ‘lucky person’ to get this card and including the buyer’s fee, he paid more than $220,000.
Now if you and I had that sum of money, we’d probably spend it on something else, say a car, a luxurious house or even a fancy vacation. But Logic spent $226,000 on a Pokemon card and in his defense, it was totally worth it.

As a kid, we all were crazy for Pokemon cards. Collecting and trading them was an important part of our childhood.
This very Charizard card is a one-of-a-kind. It’s the 1st edition card which came out in 1999. According to various sources, different editions of the card have sold for different prices in the past, but the holographic ‘shadow less’ version is said to be the most expensive one.
According to Cardhops, The $226,000 that Logic spent on this is the largest amount spent on the card.
