Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are all set to make a comeback in the fourth installment of the acclaimed Sci-fi action movie franchise The Matrix. The movie’s working title right now is Matrix 4, so we assume that it will be a continuation of the trilogy.
According to media reports, series leads’ Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will be back in their previous roles of Neo and Trinity respectively.
Creator Lana Wachowski will perform the writing, directing and producing duties of the latest installment of The Matrix. However, we have no word yet whether the other Wachowski sister Lily is expected to return.

Matrix 4 is Official
The much awaited announcement was made by the Chairman of Warner Bros. Picture Group Toby Emmerich yesterday.
““We could not be more excited to be re-entering ‘The Matrix’ with Lana. Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in ‘The Matrix’ universe.”
Lana Wachowski is also ecstatic about making a comeback with the original cast for the fourth serving of The Matrix.
“Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends,” said Lana Wachowski.

The first three installments of the film have earned over $ 1.6 billion at the box office.
“The Matrix” be holding special screenings across US for its 20th anniversary. The screenings will begin from August 30.
The Matrix included Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the lead cast with Laurence Fishburne, Hugo Weaving and Joe Pantoliano among others.
The fourth installment is slated for production next year. We can’t wait to see the return of trenchcoats, bullet time, and gravity-defying stunts that the franchise is famous for. We just hope the storyline doesn’t devolve into the free-for-all mess that happened after the first movie. Here’s to hoping Matrix 4 learns from its predecessors’ mistakes.
