Popular Pakistani superstar Mehwish Hayat took to social media to share her time at a gun range. The Punjab Nahi Jaoungi star drew the ire of netizens who did not appreciate the actress promoting ‘violent content’ on social media.
Mehwish Hayat is one of the biggest names in the showbiz industry. The actress and model is a household name with millions of fans worldwide. Fans not just love the actress for her brilliant performances onscreen. The starlet is famous for being an outspoken celebrity and a role model for young women everywhere. Mehwish is one of the few celebrities to have been honoured with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, a prestigious accolade in Pakistan.
Recently, Mehwish Hayat faced backlash from netizens on social media. The Load Wedding star took to her Twitter and Instagram to share her time at a local gun range. Check out these latest clicks of Mehwish Hayat practising her shooting a pistol with the guidance of her instructor.
“There’s a method to my madness,” Mehwish wrote in the caption.
While some people saw this as just a normal post, many people took offense to Mehwish Hayat brandishing a firearm. Apparently, the supermodel’s new pictures fall in the category of displaying firearms with any censorship or trigger warning(no pun intended).

It is ironic that there are TikTok videos of people engaging in aerial firing or posting clicks of firearms in ‘celebration’ of weddings, political rallies.
