Navin Waqar is known for her villainous character in the iconic Fawad khan and Mahira khan starrer ‘Humsafar’ which is still on the top favorite list of many fans out there. Navin Waqar had her career boost right after Humsafar.
But later, when she married Azfar Ali who was already married to the actress Salma Hassan. The public was enraged and spewed all kinds of hate over her and also called her a home wrecker!
Recently, Waqar in an interview discussed the challenges she had to face after her marriage and also how this entire hate spree and her divorce affected her.
“Of course, it was difficult for me to go through this tough time during my career, because I was somebody who just started out. My first play was Humsafar and it just skyrocketed, giving me the spotlight”, said Navin.
Navin Waqar further added that
“It was a very difficult transition to go from there and then pull yourself out of it and stand up again. It required a lot of strength. This whole situation made me realize how strong I was to be able to step out of that and then build myself up again. It was a great transition period for me and yes that has absolutely made me into that person where I don’t want to share my personal life with others.”
But people still did not buy the Humsafar star’s explanation about the struggles she faced and still see her as a home wrecker. They are in fact praising Salma for standing up for herself and being strong.
