Front-line fighters

The coronavirus pandemic has changed the lifestyle of countries all around the globe, and Pakistan has been experiencing a spike in the number of cases reported every day. Though, much like the rest of the world, our health workers and essential workers have been fighting this war against COVID-19 day in and day out. So, it’s them the public is thankful for.

The front-line fighters of Covid-19 are the reason the general population of Pakistan is able to get a good night’s sleep. Them and the entertainment industry personnel who have really stepped up in the times of need.

From providing the public with ration bags to helping daily wage earners, and even keeping everyone in lockdown entertained, these celebrities have proven to be an integral part of our society.

Although we have seen our beloved celebrities do the needful in these difficult times, they have now united as one to pay tribute to the unsung heroes of our country.

The person behind this rendition of the famous Yeh Watan Tumhara hai was the Pakistani songwriter, Shany Haider. He, with the help of the entertainment industry, was able to produce this melodious and heartwarming piece.

While Adnan Siddiqui played the flute, celebrities like Imran Abbas, Zara Noor Abbas, Faysal Qureshi, Ahsan Khan, Asma Abbas, Zhalay Sarhadi and Gohar Rasheed sang the beautiful new composition.
