Pakistani celebrities have come together to support the victims and condemn the Quetta blast. On Wednesday evening, a bomb blast near Serena Hotel, Quetta killed five people while leaving several others injured.

According to the investigation, the explosion occurred in the parking area of the hotel. The ambassador of China was apparently the target of the blast, but they weren’t present at the hotel at the time.

Bomb Disposal Unit reported that about 40-50 kgs of explosives were used and there is a high chance that it could be a suicide attack.

“The bomber detonated the bomb in the parking area after failing to enter the hotel,” an official said.

Politicians, journalists, celebrities, and people from all walks of life have taken to social media to condemn the Quetta blast. A relevant hashtag is circulating the Internet, as netizens demand justice for the lost souls.

PM Imran Khan also released a statement via his Twitter and said,

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives in the condemnable & cowardly terrorist attack in Quetta yesterday. Our nation has made great sacrifices in defeating terrorism & we will not to allow this scourge to rise again. We remain alert to all internal & external threats.”
