In this time and age, we hardly encounter incidents that make us believe in humanity. As the world becomes more and more bitter and chaotic, it is important to remind ourselves that good people exist. People like these are sending out messages of hope that kindness will always prevail.

Muhammad Ahmad, a Pakistani O-level student at Beaconhouse Newlands, has set up an example by using his education for a good purpose.

Apparently, Muhammad noticed that his school guard, Kashif Ali, was a huge fan of English movies and wished to learn the language. To this, he offered his own self to teach some basics of the language.

Muhammad taught Kashif English, Urdu and Math for three years. He wanted to provide Kashif Ali with the basic knowledge of the language and used to give him secret classes. Because of his efforts, Kashif Ai has now become quite fluent in English.

He kept a keen eye on Kashif’s development and guided him throughout. He would frequently monitor the progress and performance of the school guard and would check on his overall strengths and weaknesses.

Muhammad Ahmad’s kindness has inspired us all to take a step for the betterment of the society and the world we live in. It is these efforts that make one stand out and shine in the crowd.
