In an absurd happening, police booked a four-month-old baby. His crime? Violating the sound system act in Chiniot.

So what is the story behind this bad-guy baby? ARY News reports that Chiniot police registered a case against an infant, Husnain Shehzada. It’s unclear if that is even possible under the law?

Apparently, this little guy is one of many booked for the same crime. Various people used loudspeakers at an event in Chiniot a few days ago. Different religious scholars had delivered their speeches on loudspeakers.

Yet when law enforcement intervened due to violation of the sound system act, police booked the four-month-old baby along with many other people.

When police were informed Hasnain Shehzada is but an infant, they still refused to strike off his name from the FIR.

The baby was booked under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. His father even had to submit papers in court for interim bail.

Police Book Baby

Previously a nine-month-old baby was accused of murder in Pakistan. The infant, Muhammad Musa Khan, was booked for first-degree murder.

Similar to Hasnain’s case, Muhammad Musa Khan was among 30 accused of planning a murder, threatening police, and interfering in state affairs.

The police booked the baby following a raid to catch suspected gas thieves in the city of Lahore. Much like the other suspects the nine-month-old had to face trial and appear in court.
