The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league that takes place during February and March of every year by six teams representing six cities of Pakistan. The league came into being on 9 September 2015 with five teams by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Pakistan Super League2022 also known as PSL 7 or for sponsorship reasons HBL PSL 2022 will be the seventh season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league that was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The league is scheduled to begin on 27 January 2022, with the final to take place on 27 February. The players’ draft was held on 12 December.
Islamabad United has the 2 titles, being the most successful team of PSL. The current defending champions are Multan Sultans, who won the 2021 season.
According to the PCB following an opening ceremony on January 27, defending champions Multan Sultans will take on hosts and 2020 champions Karachi Kings at the National Stadium at 7 pm.
