Netizens call out film Rehbra, starring Ayesha Omar and Ahsan Khan, for copying the Bollywood film Fanaa‘s song “Mere Haath Mein“.
Ayesha Omar is famous for her exemplary performance in dramas and exquisite fashion sense. She is a true style icon of our showbiz industry. Aside from her acting career, Ayesha is a wonderful singer as well. Her singles like “Chalte Chalte” and “Khamoshi“ are still quite popular among fans. She even won the Lux Style Award for ‘Best Album’. The popular diva is currently working with Ahsan Khan in an upcoming big screen project.
Ahsan Khan is one of the most popular Pakistani celebrities in showbiz. The film star, TV actor, producer, host, and performer has been part of the entertainment industry for quite some time. Since 1998, Ahsan has appeared in films such as Nikah, Billi, Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Sultanat and Ishq Khuda, Dil Mera Dharkan Teri. He later moved on to TV, starring in several hit drama serials. Currently, the Time Out host is set to star alongside Ayesha Omar in the upcoming film Rehbra.
Director Amin Iqbal and producer Saira Afzal’s upcoming romantic comedy is set to hit the theatres this June. Rehbra features Ahsan Khan and Ayesha Omar in leading roles. The film came out with its official song on YouTube.
While many enjoyed the song, a few observant netizen noticed the song had striking similarities a the popular Bollywood song.
From the background to the wardrobe, the Rehbra crew took “inspiration” from Indian film Fanaa‘s song “Mere Haath Mein” starring Aamir Khan and Kajol.
