Chaudhry – The Martyr is an action-packed biopic by director Azeem Sajjad under Laaj Productions. Based on the life of the late heroic police officer Chaudhry Aslam Khan, the film features Tariq Islam, Shamoon Abbasi, Arbaaz Khan, and Zara Abid.
As part of their promotional campaign for the film, Laaj Production released one of the songs featured in the upcoming biopic. “Aatish” by Sunidhi Chauhan and Ali Quli Mirza is basically an ‘item song’ featuring actress and model Amna Ilyas.
The music video for the song has gotten mixed to negative reviews online. The video is focused on Amna Ilyas wearing rather revealing outfits and dancing provocatively. People are not usually fond of Item songs in local films. Netizen took to the comments to harshly criticize the producers for disrespecting the late police officer’s memory by including an item song in his biopic.
