Television actress Sidra Batool is ready to hit the screen again after a short hiatus. She took a three year long break from showbiz after her marriage, however, she is soon making her comeback.
Sidra Batool was invited on Good Morning Pakistan, where she revealed the reason why she distanced herself from the drama industry.
“I always wanted to give time to my family after getting married. My first priority has always been my family, and even though I got offers for some great projects, I had to put my family first,” the Arranged Marriage actress said.
Sidra further mentioned that many of her projects were left unfinished when she went on a hiatus. However, she is adamant on wrapping them up soon. She revealed that one has already been completed and she is currently working on others.
Sidra is now a mother of two adorable daughters. Talking about her personal life, the Daagh star shared that she got married within 40 days, after her sister-in-law played matchmaker.
“I was friends with my nand (sister-in-law), and the wedding was fixed after both the families agreed to it.”
She can be currently seen in Geo TV’s Umeed, where she is starring alongside Erum Akhtar, Kashif Mehmood, Farhan Ali Agha etc.
