While many were excited for Priya Varrier’s Bollywood debut, the film won’t hit theaters till the legal woes fade.

Her Bollywood debut is in danger. The film Sridevi Bungalow is facing legal action by Boney Kapoor who doesn’t want anyone else but him to make a film on his former wife Sridevi. Its a Sridevi biography after all.
Although the film-makers claim that the film is just based on the late actress’s life and character, the trailer says otherwise. Given the death scene shown in the trailer is well, exactly like Sridevi’s death via drowning in a bathtub, anyone can put two and two together.

‘Sridevi is a common name and the movie is NOT based on the legendary actress but a work of fiction’.
