Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen recently became a social media sensation by reciting Quranic verses in a live session.
The Bollywood diva was joined by her daughters in an Instagram Live session. Upon a request from one of her fans, Sen recited Surah Al Asar and received praises from all over the world.

Fond memories
Sushmita Sen also recalled her visit to Pakistan. When a follower from Multan asked her when she will be visiting the country, the Main Hoon Na actress replied,
”Soon I hope. I really really hope. I’ve been to Karachi three times and each time I have been received with a lot of love. It’s been a long time since I ‘ve visited,” she sad.
Other than that, she also recited prayers of other religions during the session.
This is not the first time the actress has recited the Quran. Back in 2017, Sushmita Sen surprised her fans by reciting Surah Al Asr at an event in Sharjah. When she was asked if she would like to give a message to her fans in Pakistan, she recited the verses of the Holy Quran.
Sushmita Sen said that her message is for the whole of humanity as the Quran and in particular the verses from the Surah give out a message of patience and endurance.
