We all have some favorites when it comes to celebrities and their parents. The bond that they share with each other is irreplaceable and that is why fans love seeing them together. But, you probably didn’t know that some of the most beloved Pakistani celebrities have parents who are from overseas.
Here’s a list of Pakistani celebrities who have a foreign parent(s):
Sonya Jehan
Sonya Jehan is a Pakistani actress who has predominantly worked in Bollywood films. The Ho Mann Jahaan actress comes from a very talented family, with Noor Jehan as her grandmother. But, did you know her mother is from England?
Not only is Florence, her mother, from England, but Sonya Jehan even married a foreigner. Her husband Vivek is from India.
Marina Khan
Marina is a Pakistani actress, director, and producer. The Tanhaiyan star comes from a mixed background as well. Her father is a Pashtun while her mother is of English descent.
Mahnoor Baloch
Mahnoor Baloch has been loved throughout her acting career. Since her first appearance in the drama Marvi in 1993, it seems like the actress has not aged at all. People think it might be because of the fact that her mother is a foreigner.
Osman Khalid Butt
Osman is a versatile actor who started his career on YouTube and soon started getting roles in popular drama series like Ehd-E-Wafa and Baaghi. His mother is originally from France, but the whole family is settled in Islamabad.
Sarah & Noor Khan
Sarah and Noor Khan’s mother was originally from Lebanon.
Unfortunately, she passed away in 2017 after a prolonged illness.
Syra Shehroz
Syra, one of the 3 sisters working in the Pakistani media industry, comes from a Pakistani-Afghani descent. Her father is a Pakistani while her mother is from Afghanistan.
Mikaal Zulfiqar
The Ramz-e-Ishq star’s parents parted their ways when Mikaal was only 17. However, he maintained his relationships with both of them. Mikaal’s mother is British while his father is a retired Pakistani diplomat.
Tipu Sharif
Tipu Sharif lives in Karachi but did you know he was born in Turkey? His mother was of Turkish descent.
Unfortunately, the lady breathed her last a few years ago.
