For all those who grew up with Tom and Jerry, great news the dynamic duo will return to our screens in another movie. Brace yourselves for the wave of nostalgia, for those off you that just haven’t gotten over the hilarious friends (or frenemies).
Warner Bros released a two-minute trailer for Tom and Jerry (2020).
“One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of ‘the wedding of the century‘, forcing the event’s desperate planner to hire Tom to get rid of him,”

Looks like this new movie will bring back that classic rivalry we’ve come to love with a contemporary flare. Much like recent Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and Sonic The Hedgehog the animated characters will be placed in a real-life setting, along with live-action characters.
This cat and mouse chase will take us to New York this time around. Even the plot of Tom being there to help evict Jerry from his residence is a much more modern storyline. So far we know the Tom and Jerry cast includes Cloe Grace Mortez, Micheal Pena, Rob Delany, Colin Jost, and Ken Jeong.
Fantastic Four and Barbershop director Tim Story is at the helm of the project. The new Tom and Jerry movie is set to hit theaters in 2021.
