‘Tough Decision’: Netizen Troll McDonald’s For Dropping Large Fries From Their Menu

People make of the fast food franchise, telling them their fries were never that good in the first place.

Netizen troll fast food franchise McDonald’s after they announced on social media that they will only be serving regular fries. The announcement came as a result of supply chain issues due to the nationwide economic crisis.

The current economic crisis of Pakistan is taking its toll on the public. With rising petrol prices and ban on imports, several international fast food brands are having to deal with supply chain issues. The latest fast food brand to make “adjustments” is the ever-popular McDonald’s.

The fast food franchise’s Pakistani Instagram account took to social media to make a public announcement.

“Due to unprecedented supply chain issues, we have to make tough decisions,” McDonald’s Pakistan wrote. “For everyone to enjoy their favorite world-famous McFries, we will only be serving regular fries for the time being.”

The franchise also told customers that they are “working hard to resolve the situation.”  People can still order medium or large meal but they will still get regular fries at adjusted prices.

As soon as the announcement was made, netizen took to social media to troll McDonald’s Pakistan. People made comments that the franchise had average fries. Some called out the fast food franchise for scamming people with their “large size” fries, containing just as much as the regular fries.
