‘Toxic, Abusive Marriage’: Tuba Anwar Clarifies Her Right To Take ‘Khula’ From Aamir Liaquat

Tuba on his stance broke silence and clapped back at Aamir with an official statement.

Recently, Aamir Liaquat while being in a conversation with a local magazine made some outrageous statements about his ex-wife Syeda Tuba Anwar. Liaquat declared that he did not divorce Anwar and she is still his wife.

He further said that he does not believe in constitutional ‘Khula’. The Inaam Ghar host added that he only believes in ‘Khula’ that is based on the religion and advised Tuba to stay within the boundaries of the religion and abide by its rules. He also added that she cannot marry someone else as she is still his wife and if she did, it would be considered a sin.

Tuba on his stance broke the silence and clapped back at Aamir with an official statement. She completely negated the statement of Liaquat and stated that the divorce was granted by the honorable court in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. She too urged the Islamic Scholars to stand up for her regarding the matter.

Soon after Tuba’s proclamation, Aamir Liaquat was fast enough to respond and prove her wrong. He took it to his gram and shared a news piece claiming that according to the religious values ‘Khula’ is not applicable without the consent of the husband.
