For those of you who are jazzed for Toy Story 4 hitting theaters in Pakistan, a bit of a hiccup.
This is because Toy Story 4 release has been delayed in Pakistan.
Disney is synonymous with children’s entertainment. From the days of Mickey Mouse to Frozen. One of Disney Studio’s beloved franchises is Toy Story. After the first three installments made it big at the box office, Disney was set to release the fourth installment in the animated children’s series.
While Toy Story’s newest installment will release in North America on on June 21st, Pakistan will see a delay.

Josh Cooley’s directorial will now be releasing on June 28th in Pakistan. Now its release date will see it go head to head with Baaji.
Tough Competition for Baaji
The homegrown film Pakistani movie Baaji, is a much-anticipated release of this year. It will be interesting to see how the newest Toy Story will affect its’ prospects.
Toy Story 4 is already rated 100 percent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The ratings for simultaneous releases were not so great. The Toy Story franchise has a history of creating a boom at the box office.
Toy Story 4 is expecting a 170+ Million opening weekend in the North American box office alone!

Baaji is gonna have some pretty tough competition with the emotional depth that Toy Story has always offered. The film has an emotional story, sprinkled with humor and action bits.
The vocal performances are something to look out for in Toy Story, with new additions each year. This time around Toy Story 4 cast Keanu Reeves as ‘Duke Kaboom‘. Original cast members such as Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have reprised their roles.
Toy Story 4 release date was set in time for summer vacations.
Meanwhile, Baaji is aimed at adults. Probably this is why its’ release was set so as not to clash with other family-friendly Eid releases. With Eid movies having run their time, this was the perfect time for Baaji to score. Now its got to contend with Toy Story 4.
