The all-rounder Wasim Akram recently appeared on an online show and opened up about his personal life. He then spilt that he still misses his ex-wife Huma a lot. He further added that he has been lucky twice in his life as he got to spend life with two amazing ladies.
“I would say that I have been lucky twice in my life as my late wife was an amazing lady, I miss her so much, she taught me a lot in my life. She gave me two beautiful sons, I have been lucky twice as Shaniera is also an amazing woman. And guys, relationships always work from both sides” said Akram.
Wasim Akram lost his first wife in 2009. Huma Akram Mufti passed away while bearing an undiagnosed short-term illness in her early 40s.
Later, the cricketer married Australian Shaniera Akram who has open-heartedly honoured and adored our nation.
Time and again Wasim keeps sharing posts regarding missing his late wife. Earlier, in a gram post, he shared a picture of his son and wrote a heartfelt note for Huma.
“You will never be forgotten, you gave me the biggest gifts of all and they continue to grow and carry on your spirit.”
