Worker Retracts Allegations Against Designer Khadijah Shah [Videos]

Big brands are always under a lot of pressure as news of them mistreating their workers spreads like the wildfire. Recently, Elan’s Khadijah Shah received a lot of hate after a video went viral on social media.

In the video, a man who worked for the brand alleged that Khadijah ordered him locked him up in one of their warehouses for 6 days. He also added that 144 workers were being exploited by the designer and not getting paid.

Khadijah Shah’s Response

Following the allegations, Khadijah was quick to take to her Instagram account and clear the air.

In her Instagram stories, the designer said that the man who was accusing her of torture and mistreatment stole almost 7,000 pieces from their orders that were ready for dispatch.

Her team had filed an FIR against him, and the video he posted was ill-intentioned.

 

 

 

Settlement

Another video was posted by the man claiming that he and the team of Elan had reached a settlement. Further stating that the video he posted earlier was all a misunderstanding and a mistake.

It is important to note that Elan designer Khadijah Shah is responsible for one of the most luxurious clothing lines in the country. She had also dressed Kate Middleton in 2019, on the royals’ visit to Pakistan.
