How to Apply for Punjab Widow Sahara Card Scheme

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Widow Sahara Card Scheme 2026 to provide financial assistance to widows across the province.

Under the scheme, eligible and registered widows will receive financial support ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000. The base amount has been set at Rs. 100,000, with additional support based on the number of children.

Widows supporting one child will receive Rs. 125,000, including an additional Rs. 25,000. Those supporting two or more children will receive up to Rs. 150,000, including an additional Rs. 50,000.

The registration process will remain open until March 14. Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab and provide a valid Computerized National Identity Card issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the husband’s death certificate and the children’s B-Form.

Applicants may submit forms through the official online portal or at designated registration centers. Authorities will conduct biometric verification and document scrutiny before releasing funds.

The provincial government stated that the scheme aims to support widows in meeting basic household needs and strengthening their financial stability.
