12 Illegal Housing Schemes Targeted in Massive LDA Operation

LAHORE: The Private Housing Scheme (PHS) wing of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out a significant operation against 12 illegal housing schemes and land subdivisions in a recent crackdown.

Led by Deputy Director Ali Sikho, the operation was conducted with the support of heavy police contingents and LDA staff along Raiwind Road.

The team took action against various illegal land subdivisions, including those located near a public school, a mill, Dream Housing Scheme on Raiwind Road, Almadina Town, Ali Park, and Hammad Garden.

During the operation, the roads and sewerage of these unauthorized schemes were demolished.

Moreover, the team sealed the offices of land subdivisions near a marriage hall, Gulberg Town, Azan Park, Ahad Homes, and Royal City.

According to the spokesperson, this extensive operation by the PHS wing is part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal housing schemes and land subdivisions in the city, ensuring compliance with development regulations and safeguarding the public interest.

  3. LDA department should take action on I’ll leagual private school, colleges.who are using residential areas as commercial activities,like New Muslim Town, Garden town,Iqbal town ect. They constructed buildings without any approval from department.
