4 Killed Over Property Dispute in Karak

KARAK: On Sunday, four people were killed and five others seriously injured over a property dispute in the Mithakhel area of the Karak district.

According to police, close relatives allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on rivals over ownership of land, injuring nine people.

Four of them, identified as Muhammad Sohail, Rahimullah, Armanullah, and Rafiullah, died from injuries while being shifted to the hospital.

The remaining five people who were taken to District Headquarters Hospital included Muhammad Yousaf, Wahid Rehman, Mumtaz Ali, Tasleemullah, and Asmat Bibi.

Due to their serious injuries, three of the injured were later referred to a hospital in Peshawar.

The police arrived on the scene as they filed a first information report and began an investigation.
