Court Grants Bail to Owner of Paragon Housing Society Lahore

LAHORE: Nadeem Zia, the owner of the Paragon Housing Society who was an absconder in a case, was granted interim bail by an accountability court on Thursday.

Nadeem appeared in the accountability court after the Islamabad High Court granted him protective bail.

Accountability Court Judge Sajid Ali Awan presided over the hearing, which was attended by Advocate Amjad Parvez on behalf of the accused.

The court granted bail to the accused until September 7 and ordered him to submit an Rs. 500,000 surety bond.

According to the details, the accused in the scam, Qaiser Amin Butt, disclosed the facts related to the commission of the offense and requested pardon under Section 26 of the National Accountability Ordinance 1999, which was granted by the competent authority.

Furthermore, core politicians of PML-N – Khawaja Saad Rafique, and Khawaja Salman Rafique – are also accused in this case.
