MULTAN: Secretary Housing South Punjab, Rana Saleem Ahmed Khan, presided over a meeting on Tuesday to review the progress of 53 development schemes of Public Health Engineering (PHE) across the region.
These schemes are expected to cost Rs. 5,604 million and will provide clean drinking water and resolve sewerage issues in the area.
Khan said that all projects would be completed on time while ensuring quality work and transparency in material procurement.
He highlighted that 16 schemes were being executed in Multan, 14 in Khanewal, 17 in Lodhran, and 7 in Vehari, with most of them being in the final stages of completion.
The secretary directed the officials to prioritize resolving public issues related to sewerage and clean drinking water and warned against any negligence. He assured the public that all possible resources were being utilized to provide relief to the masses.
During the meeting, the XENs of Lodhran, Multan, Khanewal, and Vehari briefed the secretary on the progress of ongoing development schemes.
