KARACHI: The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has announced that Rs. 22 billion will be allocated to complete 243 development projects that were previously halted due to floods.
The announcement was made during a provincial cabinet meeting in Karachi.
The meeting also approved the expansion of the Rapid Response Force to cover all areas of the province, as well as the creation of a Crowd Management Unit.
The cabinet also approved an amount of Rs 11 million for the registration and related work of 75 acres of land designated for the Hyderabad Press Club.
Additionally, the cabinet established a committee to preserve and digitize records from various provincial departments.
