QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, has stated that the current provincial government is taking action to improve the area and provide basic necessities to its residents, especially those living in underdeveloped regions.
During a meeting with media representatives at the CM Secretariat, Bizenjo emphasized the important role of the media in shaping public perception and reducing terrorism.
He noted that with responsible reporting, terrorism could potentially be reduced by 70%.
The CM also highlighted the progress being made in Balochistan, including the successful outcome of the Reko-diq project case in the international court, despite the province being a historically underfunded region as reflected in the NFC award.
He emphasized the importance of continued efforts to bring development to the area.
Furthermore, the CM also stressed the significance of media responsibility in promoting a positive image of the province and contributing to its overall development.
