The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Noorul Amin Mengal, has proposed several measures to improve the functionality of the Citizens Facilitation Center.
During his visit to the center located near Blue Area in sector G-7, he highlighted several issues faced by citizens when transferring properties and ordered the establishment of separate counters for senior citizens and overseas Pakistanis.
He plans to be available at the center once a week and intends to have a small office there to ensure efficient service delivery.
He has directed officials to prioritize resolving public issues and has warned that negligence would not be tolerated.
The CDA Chairman also addressed complaints of staff shortages at the center and ordered the concerned department to provide additional staff promptly.
The facilitation center used to be housed in the CDA headquarters but was relocated to a newly constructed building near Blue Area last year, alongside other CDA wings such as Building Control, Revenue Department, and One Window Operation.
In addition, the chairman also presided over a meeting of the estate wing and instructed the member estate and others to work with timelines and address legitimate public grievances.
