Newly Appointed DG FDA Assumes Office

FAISALABAD: Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, the newly appointed Director General (DG) of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), has taken charge of his office on Wednesday.

Chaudhry has previously served as the Secretary of Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering in South Punjab.

Upon his arrival at the FDA Complex, Chaudhry was greeted by Additional Director General Abid Hussain Bhatti, Chief Engineer Mehar Ayub, and other officers and staff members.

In addition to this, the office-bearers of the Inqilabi Workers Union also paid a visit to the DG and presented him with a bouquet.

The officials warmly welcomed the new DG and showed him around the premises and extended their support in assuming charge of his office.

The Faisalabad Development Authority is responsible for overseeing and managing the development of the city, including the provision of infrastructure, town planning, and zoning regulations, the DG remarked.

It is worth noting that Chaudhry’s experience and expertise in the field of urban development and public health engineering are expected to serve him well in his new role.

The spokesperson of the FDA stated that the organization would work towards improving the living standards of the people of Faisalabad by promoting sustainable and inclusive development.
