FDA All Set to Issue Smart Cards to Property Owners by February

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) would begin issuing smart cards to property owners by the next month.

During a meeting to examine the status of the process of digitizing the record of properties falling under FDA-supervised housing colonies and commercial marketplaces, Additional Director General (ADG) Abid Husain Bhatti announced the decision.

The ADG asserted that the smart card containing all property information will be reliable, trustworthy, and equipped with top-notch security measures.

He also examined the updated status and emphasized the need to work quickly to accomplish it completely without additional delay, while ensuring transparency.

As per the details, the official also gave the order that the smart card should be trustworthy, complete, and validated in every way possible to win the property owners’ complete trust.

Besides, the ADG established a six-person committee at the meeting with representatives from the relevant departments to oversee the record-digitization process and submit a report on the first year’s performance of the hired firm, HTTI, within two weeks.
