GWADAR: Billions of rupees have been allocated for blacktopping, construction, and repair projects of roads under the provincial Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), including in Gwadar city, according to Chief Engineer of Communication and Works (C&W), Muhammad Iqbal Kasi.
As per the details, Kasi announced an inspection of ongoing road projects under the supervision of the Department of C&W across the district.
He was accompanied by Senior Superintendent Engineer Makran Sanaullah Baloch, XEN Road Mujibur Rehman Rind, and Engineer Abdul Salam Baloch.
The Chief Engineer examined the quality of work on the roads under construction, and the SSE and XEN Road provided updates on the progress of ongoing projects.
This development will lead to the improvement of the road infrastructure in the region, enhancing connectivity and boosting economic growth, he added.
