ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA), Captain (r) Noor-ul-Amin Mengal has ordered an investigation into an incident involving falling pillars on the Bhara Kahu Bypass.
According to the details, the chairman personally visited the site of the accident and addressed the media.
He stated that a crane slipping was the cause of the incident and emphasized that the safety and well-being of laborers could not be compromised under any circumstances.
Notably, the incident has raised concerns about safety measures and regulations at construction sites, particularly with regard to the well-being of workers.
The Chairman has also assured the public that a thorough investigation would be carried out to determine the cause of the accident.
Furthermore, The CDA’s response to this incident will be closely watched, as it will reveal how seriously the agency takes the safety of workers and the public
Very unfortunate. The press should ask for certification of lifting equipment i.e for crane, slings, shackles and license of crane operators.
This will highlight many issues.
Who will investigate his stupid decision to stop the construction of Margalla Town underpass, when 70% work was done? Chairman CDA was appointed recently, after the sudden posting of former Chairman, who was honest and hardworking man.
CDA ton tunna ton
Qualifications and experience of CDA chairman????
CDA itself is the root of corruption in twin cities. It does not even approve a map of a house without bribe.
