ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Realtors Association has secured a legal victory after the nullification of a fake notification regarding the election of the realtors’ association.
According to a press release by the candidate for president, Atif Jameel Butt, the decision was a win for the Progressive Etihad Group and realtors in the region who stood for their right to choose their own leadership.
Butt further explained that the Election Commission’s notification, which was issued on December 22, 2022, had been declared null and void by the court.
He urged real estate agents in Islamabad to prepare for a new election date, which will be announced soon, giving them the opportunity to choose their true leaders.
The legal team, including Rana Iftikhar and Wajid Mughal, was specially thanked by Butt for their hard work and full attention in winning the legal battle.
Butt noted that the victory was expected to pave the way for more transparent and fair elections in the realtor’s association in the future.
