ISLAMABAD: The CDA is eyeing the construction of a mixed-use housing project in Kuri Enclave, Zone-IV of Islamabad, a guest house at Rawal Lake, and the development of the capital street on 7th Avenue.
According to the sources, the housing project aims to provide quality housing at affordable rates for all income groups.
The CDA has also expressed concern about the increasing backlog of stalled housing projects that have led to skyrocketing prices and encroachment of CDA-acquired land.
As per the details, the project has been approved with the hope of meeting the housing demands of the city’s residents.
Additionally, the CDA approved the construction of a new guest house in the same location, covering an area of 3,500 square feet and providing better facilities to guests.
The CDA also approved a project to develop capital street in the Art and Craft Village by auctioning 50 plots for food outlets.
Furthermore, the illumination of underpasses, overhead bridges, pedestrian bridges, and iconic monuments of Islamabad using the latest technology to beautify the city was also approved.
These projects are expected to improve the infrastructure and facilities of the city while also meeting the demands of its residents.
