In a recent incident, a Frontier Corps (FC) officer, a woman, and a local resident were severely injured in a collision.
It has been shared that the local mosques have begun making announcements regarding the situation, indicating a heightened risk of further collisions.
Adding to the unrest, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has continued its operation to demolish constructions in the sector.
This has sparked outrage among the local population, with many claiming ownership of the land. One local elder stated: “We are the owners of the land, we have the deeds of the land, we have not received a single rupee payment, nor did we receive any notice of demolition.”
The situation in Sector C-16 remains tense, with local residents and authorities seemingly at odds.
As the CDA’s demolition operation continues and the risk of further collisions looms, the residents of Sector C-16 are left in a state of uncertainty and concern.
