RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) took action against unauthorized and illegal commercial construction by sealing Minara Residencia, a high-rise commercial building located on G.T Road in Mouza Kotha Kalan.
The operation was conducted by Section 39 of the Punjab Development of Cities (PDC) Act 1976, with the assistance of the Morgah Police.
Before the operation, the property owner was issued notices regarding the violation of approved plans, maps, and the PDC Act 1976 and RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2020.
As per the details, the owner had constructed the commercial building without the necessary approval and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
In response to the violation, the Director-General of RDA has instructed the Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) Wing to take strict action against encroachments, illegal constructions, and unauthorized commercial activities without any bias.
