LDA Holds Meeting to Review Progress of Housing and Development Initiatives

LAHORE: The Director General of Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, conducted a meeting on Wednesday, urging officers to establish clear timelines for ongoing projects in their respective departments to ensure timely completion of targets.

During the meeting, the LDA DG emphasized that any undue delays in achieving project targets would not be tolerated.

He also directed the officers to submit daily performance reports regarding the progress of development projects.

In addition, several key issues were addressed during the meeting, with the Additional DG of Housing providing a comprehensive briefing on the matters related to the Housing Wing.

Meanwhile, the Director of Finance highlighted the goals and performance of all departments in the current financial year.

Furthermore, the Chief Engineer LDA and Chief Engineer TEPA also presented briefings on the progress of both ongoing and proposed projects.

The meeting was attended by Additional DG Housing Shahmir Iqbal, Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, Wasa MD Ghafran Ahmed, Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hassan, Chief Town Planner Shakeel Anjum Minhas, Chief Metropolitan Planning Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi, Director Admin, Director Finance, and other relevant officers.

Before the meeting, the LDA DG also visited the Shahdara Chowk flyover project.

On-site, Chief Engineer Israr Saeed and the Project Director provided a comprehensive briefing on the project’s status.

Additionally, the contractor and project director briefed Commissioner Randhawa on the progress made so far on all aspects of the project.
