RDA Instructs WASA to Reduce Spending

RAWALPINDI: DG RDA and WASA Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa has ordered all WASA officials to cut back on their spending.

Under the direction of DG RDA, a meeting was held to assess the progress of WASA.

The DG RDA received a thorough briefing from the Deputy Director Planning WASA regarding the RDA’s current situation during this meeting.

A system that the DG RDA and WASA have created and integrated will help WASA with lessening its repair and maintenance work.

The WASA field staff’s use of the mechanisms has also been subject to regular inspection by WASA officers, who have been instructed to do so.

Additionally, Rawalpindi city’s areas with severe water shortages and issues with revenue collection need to be highlighted on the map. All of these areas will be colored green, yellow, and red to reflect how serious their conditions are.

Furthermore, new development plans for these areas’ water supply are to be created and sent to the Punjab government.
