LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved seven development schemes in various sectors worth Rs. 9,631.27 million on Tuesday.
These schemes were approved at the 11th PDWP meeting of the current fiscal year 2022-23, which was presided over by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal.
Among the approved development plans were:
- Promotion of Gram Cultivation through Climate Smart Technologies in Punjab Thal areas for Rs. 1,255.005 million
- Bridge and Approach Road to Parking at Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench for Rs. 889.869 million
- Road Rehabilitation / Improvement from Sambrial Dryport Chowk to Sial Airport for Rs. 732.745 million
- Feasibility Study, Integrated Development Planning, and Revamping of Lahore’s Data Darbar Complex (PC-II) for Rs. 80.095 million
- PMU establishment (Annual Expenditure) of Rs. 596.400 million
- Technical Assistance for Punjab Affordable Housing Program of Rs. 3,000.000 million
- Wazirabad, Sialkot, Kashmir Road Rehabilitation / Improvement (Section KM No. 8.80 (Pakki Garhi) to KM No. 26.00 (UC Canal) in District Sialkot for Rs. 3,077.156 million
Provincial Secretary P&D Board, members of the Board, provincial secretaries of relevant departments, and other representatives from the provincial departments also attended the meeting.
