LAHORE: At least 22 suspects have been arrested by Lahore police for torturing the anti-encroachment team and the Assistant Commissioner (AC) City.
On Tuesday, the administration and private security guards of Park View City allegedly tortured the AC City and anti-encroachment team in the vicinity of Chung police station.
It was also revealed that police raided the houses of politician Aleem Khan and former MPA Shoaib Siddiqui.
As per the details, Lahore police conducted raids to apprehend the suspects, arresting at least 22 suspects.
According to CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, more arrests will be made as he claimed that security guards kidnapped the anti-encroachment team and police officers upon the orders of the housing society owners and administration.
In addition to snatching weapons and mobile phones from officials, the accused also caused damage to AC City’s vehicle, he added.
